  1. I heard a little whisper, that Mr.Muntjac has told a tale, of the time he scared a tall chap on the banks one night, who has grey hair ?

It is used to keep the "kids" in order,a little like the human version of the "Blackheart Mon",that Jamicans tell there kids.If you don't behave the "Blackheart Mon" will get you.

You may not catch much (yet),but you have gone down in Muntjac Folklore,Popsy.xx

  3. If one doesn't see the perpetrator of said noise, one's imagination can run somewhat riot old boy.

  4. I remember being stalked by a giant killer toad one night while out night fishing in a place where i should never have been. It toyed with me for hours or so it seemed to a twelve year old junior angler, five or so minutes actually but it felt like hours, before it revealed itself and continued to the waters edge where it promptly disappeared into the murky depths LOL
